Deep Fried Shiitake

Perfect Appetizer: Deep Fried Shiitake

This recipe is a great choice when you are looking for something delicious to bite or an extra something to add in your salad:

You will need:
1/2 cup of  White Flour (or rice, quinoa flour)
1/2 cup of Cassava Flour
1/4 cup of Water + more
3/4 up of Turmeric
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Shiitake Mushrooms (top part only)
Bread crumbs for coating

Begin by warming a pan with oil for deep frying. While the oil is warming up, mix all ingredients above in a bowl until mixture is of desired thickness (except mushrooms and bread crumbs). The thickness should be like a condensed milk. With a wooden stick, dip the Shiitake Mushroom into the mixture and coat it with bread crumbs. Repeat will all the Mushrooms. Once oil is hot (375 degrees), deep fry until crispy and golden.
